Who Am I?

Dakota Parmley, somatic depth psychotherapist in Portland, Oregon

Welcome.

I’m Dakota Parmley, Professional Counselor Associate, and I'm honored you’re here.

The Heart of Remembrance is a space that highlights the counseling services I offer, along with some psychoeducational materials on Hakomi, depth psychology, and the psychospiritual orientation from which I work.

May it be of benefit to you and all beings.

I am a Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Jenn Samsom, license C3886.

My registration number is R9426.

Offerings at Heart of Remembrance

My counseling services are here to help you on your path through life and to make meaning of your suffering. I aim to offer a space and sanctuary, through presence and attunement, where reconnection and remembrance are possible.

For individual sessions, my fee is $150. Paying privately can be a meaningful way to increase privacy from health insurance companies and to help signal an internal commitment to change through contributing material resources. I offer a small number of sliding scale options, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you are interested.

As an associate, I cannot bill insurance independently. I work with a clinic that allows me to, and you can find their website here and set up an appointment if you’d like: https://www.mindfultherapypnw.com/
